Throwback Thursday... Melbourne...

After Heron Island we caught a flight from Gladstone to Melbourne. Once we landed I headed straight to the Rydes hotel where we were based.

I was only in Melbourne for the long weekend so to be honest I didn't get lots of chance to explore the city, hence, why I would like to go back.

I did manage to sneak off on the Friday morning to have a look around, although, it was mainly to Bourke Street Mall. I also went to China Town because it's the longest continuous Chinese settlement in the western world.

In the evening we had a special event in the club at The Rydes Hotel. We invited all our clients and had previous rugby legends there also. Afterwards it turned into a club and all of them were dancing till the early hours so we were all pretty shattered by the end of it.

On Saturday it was matchday, we had organised a supporters village next to the Stadium. It turned out to be a great event and the venue itself was really cool. We also got to go to the match, however, we ended up losing so no one was in the mood to celebrate after.

The next day we had to wake up at 5am to get our flight to Hamilton Island. This was a welcome relief as I needed a relaxing trip to an Island to recuperate again!

Stay tuned for Part 4 coming soon... Throwback Thursday... Hamilton Island...

Keeping you posted.
